STRUCTURAL HEART PROGRAMS
Crossroads is pleased to introduce the first in a range of structural heart educational programs designed with the entire multidisciplinary team in mind. Structural Heart programs give physicians experience with the latest hands-on technologies and help build confidence when coping with challenging situations that occur in daily practice. Crossroads programs promote best practice at all levels of expertise, involving the whole cath lab team with the aim of improving patient outcomes.
Percutaneous Mitral Valve Repair: Multidisciplinary Team Training
- Aimed at echocardiographers, cardiac surgeons and interventional cardiologists to gain knowledge and skills in performing percutaneous Mitral Valve Repair
- The program is 1.5 days organized at Crossroads Institute Brussels

- Understand clinical indications and contra-indications for trans-septal puncture
- Understand different techniques in guidance of Fluoroscopy, TEE and ICE
- Understand use of different tools available to perform trans-septal puncture
- Understand navigation and positioning for different trans-septal puncture techniques
- Learn how to perform a safe trans-septal puncture
