The Crossroads Institute in Tokyo was established in 2003 and has been located in a convenient business district of Tokyo since 2007. The Crossroads Institute provides state-of-the-art training in the field of cardiac and vascular therapy, primarily aimed at physicians in the Asia Pacific and Japan region.

Hybrid Flow Models

Hybrid flow models facilitate training in stent deployment and guidewire manipulation techniques.
Offering physicians the opportunity to monitor the accuracy of stent positioning and its expansion in a way that is not possible during angiography.

Cath Lab

The cath lab is equipped with State-of-the art angiographic and intravascular ultrasound systems, which combined with the simulated human model, allows physicians to train in conditions that are close to real-life clinical practice. Physicians can be taught basic or advanced techniques according to their technical expertise.

Virtual Reality Simulators

There are four virtual reality simulators with which physicians can practice device selection, optimizing the volume of contrast agent and device manipulation. At the end of each procedure an evaluation report can be produced that shows details such as volume of contrast agent used, X-ray exposure and stenosis improvement.
